julie - I should follow your lead and post those unfinished sketches, it’s always a challenge capturing the vibrancy of a pencil sketch in the finished product, isn’t it? I’m waaaay out of practice doing gesture drawings from life, but that’s something I want to do more of this year too.

rose - I usually use pens on paper, and then scan it it to add colors digitally. Doing the “inks” on the computer throws me for a loop because I can’t just tilt the page when I need to. I like your watercolor work a lot, I have to get into the right state of mind to play with them, I can be such a control freak, lol!
